JFGA's Long Range Planning Makes Significant Progress

The work of more than 100 people is helping to shape the way the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta (JFGA) operates.

Three teams – including volunteers, professional consultants and Federation staff – are nearing the completion of their work investigating the best ways to implement three key strategies:

The "Outcomes" team is working to determine the best method to direct the money that Federation raises to meet community needs most effectively.

The "Greater Atlanta" team is focusing on increasing the participation of

The "Donor Centered" team is concentrating on assisting donors to more efficiently articulate, plan and accomplish their philanthropic goals in addition to exploring ways to provide the best customer service possible.

The long-range planning group has already begun developing creative partnerships with agencies, synagogues and organizations to better serve the Jewish community. The group, which began work in early 2003, will unveil its work at Federation's annual meeting on June 2, 2004.
