High Hopes for Kids' Chai Campaign

More than 100 children contributed a combined total of $1,600 to the 2004 Campaign for Community Needs on Super Sunday through the introduction of the Kids' Chai Campaign. "Teaching kids the responsibility of tzedakah was the purpose behind the Kids' Chai Campaign," said Super Sunday co-chair Leah Romberg Harrison. "We are proud that our community is teaching our children civic responsibility at such an early age."

While older children pledged on their own, parents made pledges on behalf of their toddlers and babies. One goal of the Kids' Chai Campaign is to instill the responsibility that we as Jews have for each other. This year's donor honor roll will include the names of the children that participated in the first annual Kids' Chai Campaign.
