ShalomAtlanta.org, the Web site for the JFGA, currently is undergoing an Internet consultation review led jointly by United Jewish Communities (UJC) in New York and Carol/Trevelyan Strategy Group (CTSG) of Washington D.C. The goal of this evaluation is to strengthen JFGA's current web offerings by enhancing user experiences online. CTSG's Mark Rovner is heading the consultation.

"Our goal has been to guide local federations' Internet strategies to achieve the maximum possible benefit to the communities they serve," said Rovner. "I am greatly impressed with ShalomAtlanta and its content and execution, and am sure Atlanta will inspire other federations to match the great work they do."

CTSG focuses on online fundraising and marketing including web based fundraising strategy, advocacy campaigns, outreach, site design and content creation. To date, UJC has selected 10 federations, including Atlanta, to work with Rovner and CTSG. Rovner also has worked with Amnesty International and the American Civil Liberties Union.

The consulting engagement began March 15 with the JFGA marketing staff completing a self-assessment of the site.

The consultation will conclude this summer with new strategies and themes to drive traffic and build user loyalty.
