Shira Zimmerman rejoined Federation in April as the endowment's senior gift planner marking her second stint with Federation in nine years. Her responsibilities include working with the 3,500 members of Endowment's Silver Circle Society, donors who have pledged annual gifts since 1977 or before, and supervising the senior endowment associate.
Formerly the assistant campaign director, Shira originally joined Federation in February 1995 and left in March 2003 to become the Director of Advancement at Greenfield Hebrew Academy.
Shira holds a BBA from Emory University and a MSW from Yeshiva University with a certificate in Jewish Communal Services.
"We are excited to have Shira back on board," said Endowment Director Seth Feldman. "We are highly fortunate to have someone who knows so much about both the business and communal aspects of work."
Federation also is pleased to announce that Van Lane has been named the Endowment's customer concierge. Van joined Federation in a part-time capacity in January and accepted this full-time position in March. As the customer concierge, he is the primary point of contact for all endowment customer service questions. Van served as the Executive Director of Congregation Beth Shalom for six years prior to joining Federation.
"Shira and Van have the perfect skill sets and personalities to help enhance our endowment division," said Feldman.
